Processing.py

Processing is software used to make visual art with code. It is often used with Java, but I am using the Python module with my students. I find it is a great introduction to coding with graphics. I am including some video tutorials that I created. I will also include some Year 8 student work.

Student Work

The following are examples of Year 8 student work using Processing with the Python Extension. When the students completed their Artwork, we uploaded them to the Polygon Blockchain and made NFTs of the students work. This connection helped to make the learning authentic and engaging for the students.
